Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal for contracts concerning the delivery of goods in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Dr. Frederik Franke, Ortnistr. 7, 81925 Munich, Germany, Tel: +49 (0)176 21151797, Email: info@accordionseal.com) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. letter or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless something else has been explicitly agreed upon with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse to make the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods.

You must return the goods without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not pre-manufactured and for whose production the consumer’s individual selection or specification is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.*

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of the conclusion of the contract, are not residents of any Member State of the European Union, and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of the conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.
